Hydroactive foam dressing with special hydrophilic foam structure

Description

Foam dressing with polyurethane top layer, permeable to water vapour¹. A unique hydrophilic pore structure results in a strong capillary effect which enables rapid transport of wound exudate and ensures a balanced moist wound environment². Bacteria and cell debris are safely bound in the body of the dressing, even under compression³ ensuring the wound site is protected against maceration.

Uses

For fast vertical absorption (wicking) of moderately exuding wounds in the cleansing and granulation phases of the wound healing process. Especially suitable for chronic problematic wounds such as leg ulcers, pressure ulcers and venous ulcers in combination with a compression Therapy. PermaFoam® can also be used in the treatment of superficial partial thickness burns. For deeper wounds or difficult-to-treat problem areas choose from a range of adhesive and non-adhesive shapes
