Where injuries require a functional but flexible immobilisation, Cellacast^® Soft is our product of choice. Only a few layers will result in a cast that is semi-rigid and comfortable to wear.

Immobile - yet allows motion

Muscle atrophies and joint stiffness are among the negative effects of immobilisation. These risks can be reduced with Cellacast^® Soft. Cellacast^® Soft maintains the function of muscles and tendons with a positive effect on the healing process and subsequent rehabilitation.

Partial immobilisation with Cellacast^® Xtra splints

In combination with a Cellacast^® Xtra splint the stability of Cellacast^® Soft can be increased where required. The rigid splint will provide immobilisation in those sections where movement must be completely prevented, while the semi-rigid section allows controlled movement.

Comfortable for patients and users

Cellacast^® Soft can be applied directly onto the tg^® soft tubular padding bandage with little effort. It can be perfectly moulded to body contours. The patient will hardly feel the new semi-rigid cast ~ thanks to the conformable and soft cast edges and the low weight. The hardened cast can be opened with scissors and cut to size as required.
