Cellacast Active

The appropriate cast for cases that require both immobilisation and controlled movement. Cellacast^® Active offers good mobility and partial immobilisation at the same time.

As simple as plaster, as comfortable as cast

Cellacast^® Active is fast and easy to apply and its thin carrier material allows it to conform excellently to body contours ~ even to areas that are difficult to dress. The tg^® soft tubular padding bandage thereby acts both as a skin protection and a padding.

As flexible as possible, as stable as necessary

Stability and flexibility of the cast can be individually adjusted by the number of applied bandage turns. Fewer layers offer higher flexibility, and more layers increase stability to provide increased immobilisation where necessary. Depending on the number of layers used, Cellacast^® Active can be opened with cast scissors and cut to size.

Cast without fibreglass

Cellacast^® Active consists of a polyester carrier material which is coated with polyurethane resin. 100% X-ray transparency allows shadowless X-raying and facilitates monitoring of the healing process. The cast edges stay soft and flexible.
