Your nurse or doctor has prescribed SuprasorbX to help your wound heal as well as cooling and soothing the skin around the wound.

If you feel your wound is getting worse, for example it is producing more fluid, feels more painful or the surrounding skin hurts and feels hot them contact your nurse or GP straight away.

Product Description

SuprasorbX sheet and rope are hydrobalance wound dressings consisting of cellulose, water and 0.085% chlorohexidine gluconate (preservative).

Depending on the wound condition, Suprasorb X sheet or rope can either provide the wound with moisture, absorb excess exudate or, depending on the wound, do both simultaneously This creates a moist wound environment.

Dressing change is atraumatic; the material can be adjusted to the wound shape and depth, making Suprasorb X suitable for difficult to dress areas of the body. There is no adhesion to the wound or to the secondary dressing. The cooling effect of the dressing is perceived as pleasant and may reduce pain.

Suprasorb X always requires a secondary dressing (such as Suprasorb F (Film) or Suprasorb P (Foam)
